Breakfast is the most important meal for the day. Not only does it help you in feeling full, but also have a great impact on your health and metabolism. Having a breakfast ensures a fit body. Also, it helps in losing fat and weight.
But being a working woman or a college going girl, it is not easy to make breakfast. And, you can’t just eat anything and everything in the morning.
So, here are some quick breakfast ideas that are not just healthy but tasty as well.
MONDAY: Bombay Sandwich
Bombay sandwich is the raw sandwich.
- Bread of choice
- Green chutney
- Boiled potato
Well, I think you know what you have to do. Just spread the butter and chutney, place the veggies on the bread and you are done.
TUESDAY: Greek Salad
- Lemon juice
- Olive oil
Just toss the veggies in Salad dressing, made of Lemon juice, olive oil, oregano and salt.
Its a South Indian Dish. The most quick, easy, tasty and healthy.
- Rawa Suji (semolina)
- Mustard seeds
- Tomato (optional)
- Lemon Juice
This is the basic recipe that I prefer, You can definately make the classic recipe as well.
First, roast suji in a pan, keep that aside. Now put mustard seeds, onion, tomato and salt in another pan and let it cook. Now put some water and then add the roasted semolina. Let it get thick. Then switch off the flame and add lemon juice.
THURSDAY: White Sauce Pasta
Who finds cooking a white sauce pasta difficult?
- Boiled Pasta
- All purpose flour (Maida)
Well, you know what you have to do, Don’t you?
(Trust me, it is healthy.)
- mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Lemon juice
Soak the Poha. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and peanuts to a pan, cook. Now add salt, sugar and soaked poha. Switch off the flame and add lemon juice.
SATURDAY: Boiled Eggs & Milk
If you are a non-vegetarian, then it can be a great source of protein to you. Healthy and quick.
SUNDAY: Bread Roll
Sunday can be a cheat meal day, no? 😉
- boiled and mashed potatoes
- chaat Masala
Mix the ingredients except the bread. Now soak the bread in water for just a second or so. Put the stuffing in that bread and Bind the bread covering all the stuffing. Fry.
BONUS: Banana Walnut Cake
You don’t really need to bake it in the morning, you can bake it whenever you are free and it can serve as your breakfast.
- Wheat flour (atta)
- Brown sugar
- 3 Bananas
- Olive oil
- Baking powder
- Baking soda
Beat the bananas and brown sugar. Add Wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Add olive oil and milk to make the batter. BAKE….
